Saturday, Dallas Cowboys Game vs Ravens

IRVING, TX - DECEMBER 14: Running back Tashard Choice #23 of the Dallas Cowboys celebrates his touchdown with Leonard Davis #70 and Andre Gurode #65 in the fourth quarter against the New York Giants at Texas Stadium on December 14, 2008 in Irving, Texas.

Well, I am a little excited cause the Cowboys play this weekend on a Saturday, I would like to go out and have a good time with friends, a day for myself. First I need to find a sitter for Jayson, my parents will be out of town attending a Quincenera in Monterrey, NL Mexico. WOW! I haven't been able to go out for sometime. I am really looking forward for this weekend but I don't want to make plans until I find a sitter for Jayson.

8 Months!

Jayson turned 8 months on Saturday! He has began to make funny faces when he sees me with the camera, its hard at times to get him to pose for the camera. Friday night there was an accident, I layed him down to change his diaper in my bed, I guess he got cold and suprisingly pied on his clothes before I was able to finish changing him. I rapidly went to the drawer to get him another pair of PJ's to change him from the wet ones and all of the sudden I hear a stomped on the floor there was my baby crying his lungs out, he looked scared I ran back and grabbed him and started crying myself. Jayson's cry was different from that I have heard in the past he grabbed onto me so hard as if he didn't want to let go. I couldn't stop crying and he hugged me harder I kept telling him I am sorry, I love you, as I rubbed his little head finally we both stopped crying and Jayson starred at me and I hugged him tight. Mom and I were inspecting his little head searching for any abnormal bumb we didn't find any. It wasn't until Jayson giggled at my mom and hid his face next to mine that I felt better. I was really scared. I promised that I will never let him alone in the bed again.

Dr. Visit

Friday, I took Jayson to see the doctor after work. Here I was able to get a picture of him, just another distraction to the Pediatrician since Jayson wouldn't stay still when he was checking him, the Dr. said everytime you bring me Jayson you claim he is sick, but when he gets to my office he seems that he is having fun and doesn't look sick, Jayson starts to cough (fake) and wouldn't stop as if he knows what me and his Pediatrician are talking about. Jayson has the flu but is already going away. GOOD! He weighs 16.5 lbs (8 kilos) I asked the Dr if that was normal and he stated that Jayson is in the normal weight for his age which is a relief because people say he is skinny, that is Jaysons physique I guess, pettite I asked him about his teeth and he said for me not to be anxious that they will come at their time, my mom said I got my first tooth when I was almost 10 months old, my sister got them at 9 so its in his genes to be a late bloomer!

First Week of December

Our first week of December really looks good, it has been cold in the mornings and at night, nothing that we can't handle down here in the Rio Grande Valley. Jayson has been under the weather he started a cough, nothing of much concern but I am reading this article on the net about babies and Whooping Cough so just because of that article I am taking him for a check-up with the doctor. Jayson will turn 8 months next week, and still don't show any signs of a tooth or two though he does drull somebit I am just been anxious to see his first tooth I just have to leave it to its own course.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving day was a busy one my mom had surgery on her eye that morning so I was her chofer for the day, came hustling back and got ready to go over to Jesse's house Jayson was over there for the morning since we left early for Moms procedure. Picked him up and was told he ate a lot of pumpkin pie. Went over to my sisters house and started preparing the side dishes for our family dinner. These were the only pictures I was able to take due that I was busy preparing food. My cousin went crazy posing for these pictures Jayson looks as if he is having so much fun. I LOVE YOU JAYSON!
