Life Is Beautiful

Well, I have been busy at work all this week. And busy at home as well, I joined an Aerobics class to fullfill my resolution of loosing weight this year. I want to be fit for my baby and be a healthy mom to him as well and of course for my own good. This week all I have done is browse and click next blog and have found so many families in need of prayer. This morning I found a blog of a 1 pound baby. God does create miracles. Kayleigh is already seven months and what I read you can click on her button and it will take you to her story and you will read for yourself. Another family is The Calls Family Mr. Call has been going through radiation and things are also going well for him. Just to let you (my blogging world friends) You all are always in my daily prayers. Thanks for allowing me come into your lifes even though we don't know each other personally. Thank you all once again. I hope next week will be a good week and gives me a chance to blog. I almost forgot Pray for Que and Brittany to be able to adopt they seem to be ready to become parents. Good Luck. And GOD BLESS YOU ALL. P.S. I will be going to San Antonio for the weekend Jayson is going too. Looking forward for a nice weekend. BYE!!

"And the Award Goes To...

WOW! My first award ever in the blogging world. It was awarded today by my blog world friend Andrea. http://blogspot.com I encountered her blog one day after clicking next blog several times. It catched my eye on how cute her blog looked and from that day on I started following her. She was the first blog friend I started to follow. Let it be known .... I am always looking forward to see what is new with her and her daughter. Thank you so much Andrea! I feel like a kid with a new toy!

Now, for the formalities: "These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers. Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award."

The Weekend

Saturday Jayson and I went to a Birthday Party at Peter Piper Pizza. It was Jadelyn's 5th Birthday. Jadelyn is daughter to my long time friend Lilly. Jayson enjoyed the carrousel. I was a bit afraid he would slide down the horse while it was turing to my suprise Jayson sat throughout the ride. I was just by his side the whole time. He had a good time as you can all see. Later we went to visist his dad and his grandma Jayson's sister Danika wasnt home so he got to play with Jesse and Carolina his cousin. Sunday we went to the ranch. It has been 8 years since my grandma (dads mom) passed away. our whole family was there and we went to mass and then we went back to the ranch. There was a lot of food, you didnt know where to start. It was really fun seeing each other and spending a Sunday around our loved ones. I love family gatherings!

9 Months of Life

This week (Tuesday) Jayson turned 9 months, time really flies. I counted and did my math 1 year and 1/2 ago Jayson started to exist. Oh my! he changed my life completely I don't regret it at all and never will. I never thought it would happen to me, I learned the "never say never"saying. Everyday I go straight home after work when before I dreaded to go home cause it was "boring" I had to go places with friends, happy hour, parties you name it I was there, Fridays and Saturdays I would hang out with friends at sports pubs stay out until early hours of the morning it was just a lot of partying and having good times. I have to thank my mom for teaching me to be a good mom, for being strict with me when I would want to go and meet with friends and wanted to leave Jayson with her so that I would go out. I remember of getting super mad and saying I can't believe she is being that way with me. What have I done to her, why can't she take care of him for a while if he goes to sleep early, I would stay in my room and be very upset and then I take a look at Jayson and I would tell myself, OK I stay with you tonight and made that night the best of it. It's funny to see those onsies at the store that reads "Party at my crib at 2:00 a.m." it is true! I would enjoy the evening with my son all evening. Now I don't regret it a bit. Jayson will grow one day and I will not regret not being around or with him as he reached all his milestones and be there to see each and one of it. There will be time for all those different get togethers with friends later. I have a little boy to look after its not only me to take care of. I love you Jayson always and forever. (a picture will follow later) sorry :(

Stand Out!

This weekend went by pretty fast. Saturday there was a cold front that came into the Valley which was not as much as expected but good enough to stay at home. Jayson has a runny nose and a bit of a cough we went to see Dr. Soto. He is such a good doctor he examined him and said it was just that a runny nose and cough nothing serious. I was thinking he migh catch the whooping cough that has been going on all this winter but gratefully it was just that. If you look closely you could see him with a runny nose. Last night when we got back from the Ranch I unbuckled him and I reached for his diaper bag when I looked back at him, there he was standing up on his own and getting our attention he even waited until I got my camera out to take him this shots. He is funny. He will turn 9 Months tomorrow. Time is sure really going by really fast. I have a little bit over 3 months to start preparing for his 1st Birthday, I have decided to make his party of Elmo, What do you guys think? Any other suggestions Please let me know. He looked really cute with this cow outfit I put him on yesterday it really fit the scenario at the Ranch. My dad took him to look after the sheep for a while before it got breezy.

George Strait coming to the RGV

George Strait is coming back to the Rio Grande Valley after I don't know how many years I think is 20. He will be performing at the Dodge Arena on May 9th just in time for Mother's Day! I now can celebrate Mother's Day for the second time, this will be an awesome present for me yeah!!! I convencied Jesse, Jayson's father to go with me since he only likes about 3-5 songs of him so he said okay, I'll go with you as if I was twisting his arm. Jesse and I maintain a really good relationship even though we are not living together we still act as if we do. It is a long story and this blog is not about me its about Jayson. Jesse has always been there for Jayson when ever I call him to help me out when my mom can't babysit him. He has 2 kids from his previous marriage which he has custody of; Danika 10 and Jesse 9. One of my favorite songs of George Strait is "She let herself Go", I Saw God Today, The Cowboy Rides Away, The Chair just to name a few. Tickets don't go on sale until further notice. I can't wait to hold the tickets in my hand. My long time good friend and confidant Yvonne is going too, hope we get tickets together.

ooops! I did it Again!!

It happened once again, Jayson fell of the bed again, it was about 3:30 in the morning that Jayson woke up crying, I switched him from his crib to my bed and he went back to sleep. Maybe he was cold, he was not covered. Then it was time for me to get ready for work when I walked over to my closet Jayson woke up and rolled over to the floor. This time he did get hurt just look at the pictures I've posted, maybe it wasn't a good idea I don't want CPS to call me and get in trouble. My poor baby, once again I am sorry. He cried for a while, I placed an ice pack on his forehead so that the swelling would minimize. It was cold so he wouldn't keep it for long. After a while he was the same happy baby as you can see in the pictures.

Happy New Year 2009!

2008 is gone and here is the best thing the year brought to me my baby boy Jayson. I took this picture of ourselves New Year's Eve before he went to sleep, it is not the best picture but oh well. We went over to my sisters house for the evening, my cousins, my brother and rest of the family were there we had so much fun we had Kareoke and we danced and sang until midnight. Then we popped fireworks Jayson went to sleep a bit after 12 midnight which was good he was the first one I hugged and kissed for the New Year 2009. It was great.

Merry Christmas!!

It was Jayson's first Christmas and it was awesome. He received many gifts from family and friends from clothes to toys. He didn't last until 12 midnight so we opened his gifts until the next morning. He wore this onesee that read "Who needs Santa, I've got Grandparents!"
